Just got an awesome browser Add-On for Facebook!!!

16 07 2010

Hey Guys!

I am SO very happy- I got the most amazing Add-On for my FireFox internet browser and never restarted the browser until this morning so I could see it.

Basically, here is what it does:
-Below every FaceBook post you see a “Like” button/ link (That comes standard and cannot be removed!), and then with this browser Add-On, there is now a button right next to the “Like” button that says “I Don’t Care!”

-If you have the Add-On installed to your browser, you will see a box similar to the “Like” one that says, for example, Joe Smith likes this post, but the “I Don’t Care” one says, for example, Joe Smith doesn’t care.

-The “Like” box that shows whoever liked the post appears light blue, but the “I Don’t Care” box that shows whoever didn’t care for the post appears in red!

-After you have selected the “I Don’t Care” button/ link, it then switches the text to say: “I Care”. If you click on “I Care”, you will no longer be listed in the red “I Don’t Care” box.

I cannot believe someone else thought of that. I always thought of something like that, and never thought something like that was already on the internet.

Anyway, for those people who want to see what it is like, here you go:

Here is an image of what it looks like:

Sorry about the “not so great” edit with adding “Joe Smith”. I want to keep the identity of the person who “liked” to be a secret (unless they otherwise say!).

And, just for fun, here is the video:

What do you guys think of the awesomeness that is: the FaceBook “I Don’t Care” button???

Thanks!

H Tech Project: Re-Tweet-It

13 12 2009

Hey Guys!

REMEMBER TO ENTER BRANDON’S CORNER SNOW MAN DECORATION CONTEST: http://brandonscorner.wordpress.com/2009/12/12/snow-man-decoration-contest/

First off: HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Second, I wanted to talk to you about the brand new H Tech project! I recently was thinking that H Tech didn’t only need to be an independent company, developing everything for us… but why not use a already popular internet website to boost one of our projects up? Simple idea, right? So, I thought and thought about things we could do… nothing. So I listed the largest online websites… and the most active websites. The main sites were:
-FaceBook
-Twitter
-WordPress
-Google
-YouTube

Then I thought, crud! These are all websites that are popular, but H Tech’s grand release is January 1st, 2009!!! Who is going to want to work with us. So I thought some more on ideas I could make myself for the websites. Then, it looked like this above my awesome head (Humble, aren’t I?):

Here was my idea layout:
Twitter came out with a new feature called “Re Tweet” where you can click a button that automatically tweets this onto your Twitter… and companies everywhere were holding contests to see who could re-tweet and randomly be selected to win! Good Idea? My idea was create a website where people could submit and view others contests on one simple website!

So I re-created my original “Brandon’s Corner Project: Re-Tweet-It” into “H Tech’s Project: Re-Tweet-It”. The project and website are now completed, yay! Since H Tech opens January 1st, 2010, I will open the project sometime around then (Hopefully).

Also, remember to enter my Brandon’s Corner Snow Man Decoration Contest: http://brandonscorner.wordpress.com/2009/12/12/snow-man-decoration-contest/
